London: 10 January 2008 www.lsq.tv - for all premieres. It is my opinion, that judging from the crowd crush tonight that Johnny Depp must be the world's greatest movie star. The thing was incredible. There were three people around me carried out due to fainting -- and JD himself was instrumental in making sure one of our number got pulled to safety. There were folk from all over the world, Patagonia, Japan, USA, Brazil -- Captain Jack is a global draw. Mr. D spent loads of time with media and with fans too. He spent almost an hour or so talking to them, signed plenty of autographs and smiled at my companion -- so result! Director Tim Burton spent time with the fan-line. Helena Bonham Carter look radiant in a blood-red dress yet could not be persuaded to sign. "I'm cold" I caught as she flashed past. Everyone had a great time despite the usual premiere downpour. Superb evening!
